How do I know which size to select?
To ensure the perfect fit, follow these steps when measuring your wrist.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WRIST:
1. Use a Flexible Measuring Tape: Wrap the tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, where you would normally wear your bracelet.
- If you don’t have a measuring tape, use a strip of paper or string, mark the point where it overlaps, and then measure that length with a ruler.
2. Add Comfort Allowance:
- For a snug fit, add 0.25" to your wrist measurement.
- For a looser fit, add 0.5" to 0.75" to your wrist measurement.

6.5" Bracelet
- Fits a wrist measuring 5.75" - 6"
7" Bracelet (Most Popular)
- Fits a wrist measuring 6.25" - 6.5"
7.5" Bracelet

Product Care
How should I care for my purchase?
For 14k gold filled & 18k gold plated pieces, we recommend avoiding direct contact with any harsh chemicals, which can be found in perfumes, cosmetics, and soaps, as they can cause the finish to darken much more quickly.
To clean, use a soft cloth, mild soap and warm water. We cannot guarantee that once a piece has darkened due to exposure that it can be salvaged, which is why it is important to take proper care steps throughout the lifetime of your jewelry so that you can enjoy your special pieces for many years to come!
How to care for your 14k gold-filled jewelry?
Avoid Contact with Harsh Chemicals
Keep your gold-filled jewelry away from chemicals like chlorine, bleach, and household cleaning products, as they can cause tarnishing or dullness. This includes avoiding wearing your jewelry in pools or hot tubs.
Minimize Exposure to Moisture
While gold-filled jewelry is more durable than gold-plated, it's still a good idea to remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising. Excessive moisture and sweat can dull its shine over time.
Clean Gently and Regularly
To maintain the shine, gently clean your jewelry with warm water and a mild soap. Use a soft cloth or a jewelry cleaning cloth to wipe it dry and restore its luster. Avoid abrasive materials like paper towels, as they can scratch the surface.
Polishing
Over time, gold-filled jewelry can develop a natural patina. If it begins to lose its shine, you can use a soft polishing cloth designed for gold jewelry to gently buff it back to its original brightness.
Store Properly
Store your gold-filled pieces separately in a jewelry box or soft pouch to prevent them from scratching or tangling with other items. Keeping them in an airtight bag can help reduce exposure to air and moisture, which can contribute to tarnishing.
Apply Lotions and Perfume First
To protect your jewelry from damage or discoloration, always apply lotions, perfumes, or hairspray before putting on your jewelry. This prevents residue buildup that can dull the metal's shine.
How to care for your sterling silver jewelry?
Wear It Often
Believe it or not, wearing your sterling silver jewelry regularly helps prevent tarnishing. The oils in your skin can naturally polish the silver, keeping it shiny.
Avoid Exposure to Chemicals
Keep your sterling silver jewelry away from chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, or chlorine, which can cause the silver to tarnish. This includes household cleaners, hot tubs, and pools.
Keep Away from Moisture
Moisture can accelerate tarnishing, so it's best to remove your silver jewelry before swimming, showering, or engaging in activities that cause you to sweat heavily. Store it in a dry place when not in use.
Store Properly
When not wearing your sterling silver jewelry, store it in an airtight bag, such as a zip-lock or anti-tarnish pouch, to prevent exposure to air and moisture. Make sure to store pieces separately to avoid scratching.
Polish Regularly
Use a soft, lint-free cloth or a special silver polishing cloth to gently clean and buff your silver. Avoid using paper towels or tissues, as they can scratch the surface. For heavier tarnish, use a silver polish or a baking soda and water paste, gently rubbing with a soft cloth.

Lotions, perfumes, and cosmetics can contribute to tarnishing. To protect your jewelry, apply these products before putting on your sterling silver pieces and allow them to dry fully.
Clean with Mild Soap and Water
Occasionally, wash your sterling silver jewelry in warm water with a mild dish soap. Use a soft cloth or brush to gently clean the piece, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
Use Anti-Tarnish Solutions
Anti-tarnish strips or silica gel packets can be placed in your jewelry box or storage pouch to absorb excess moisture and help prevent tarnish.
Ordering
When can I expect my order?
All orders are handmade to order at our studio in St. Louis, Missouri. Our turnaround time to ship is 5-7 business days. During peak seasons, this time may vary. An email confirmation with tracking info will be sent when an order has shipped.
Can I cancel my order?
We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish we could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time.

Shipping Information
Shipping rates
Free shipping is available for all orders $99+. A flat $5 rate will be applied for orders that do not qualify for free shipping.
How will my order ship?
All packages are shipped via USPS. Quoted ship dates are subject to change and are not guaranteed. Bowood Lane is not responsible for third party shipping delays.
How can I track the status of my order?
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. After your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.
What if I entered the wrong address?
Contact our customer service team via sales@bowoodlane.com with your name, order number and updated shipping address as soon as possible. In the case that your order has not yet shipped, we will update your shipping information.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Local pickup is available at checkout. An email will be sent when your order is ready. Anyone interested in local pickup will be required to pickup at the Bowood Lane studio. The address is listed below.

Do you ship overseas?
Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer shipping outside of the United States.
Returns & Exchanges
Do you offer returns/ exchanges?
We want you to love your Bowood Lane Jewelry. We do accept returns on unworn items purchased from our website within 7 days of delivery. You can return an item and request the funds to be deposited back to your original form of payment (note: Bowood Lane does not refund shipping cost shipping costs). Exchanges can made on unworn items within 14 days of receiving your order. CLICK HERE to start a return or exchange. All returns/exchanges must go through the link provided. Please allow 7-10 days for processing any refunds or exchanges.
We do not accept returns on custom orders, i.e. personalized jewelry and custom sizing. All last chance items are final sale.
How to return an order?
After submitting your return request via our return portal, please carefully pack the items you do not wish to keep, along with their original packaging. Drop your package at the nearest U.S. Post Office.
Bowood Lane does not provide return shipping labels on returns/exchanges. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.
What if my order is damaged upon arrival?
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so we can make it right. Please email sales@bowoodlane.com with any concerns you may have. Please include your order number, along with a photo of the damaged item.
Do you offer repairs?
If any item is damaged from daily wear, whether purchased from our website or from a retail store, we are happy to repair the item for you. There will be a fee associated with the repair, and the fee will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Note that work will not be performed until you have been advised of any applicable fees associated with the request, and your payment has been processed. Please allow a minimum of 14 days for repairs to be completed.
